Please visit the EBIA News page to find the notice of intent form to be a board member of the EBIA board. The association is bound to make available to all members, no later than 90 days prior to the annual meeting, a formal notice of intent to be a candidate for the board of directors of Estero Bay Improvement Association Inc. Potential candidates, to indicate the desire to be a candidate for the board, will use this form. This is the only way an eligible person can qualify as a candidate for election. The Potential candidates may also enclose an information sheet, limited to one page, about him or herself. The candidate will be responsible for the accuracy of the information contained on the information sheet. Completed forms and any information sheets must be returned to the association 45 days prior to the annual meeting, November 25th, or the candidate will not be entered on the ballot. Not less than 30 days prior to the annual meeting, the association will cause to be mailed to each member a sample ballot for the election of directors and any candidate information sheets that have been made available.
The association also requests at this point that each member certifies and delivers to the EBIA secretary, Don Meidinger, a letter of that members Board of Directors identifying the building representative for that member. A roster of voting representatives will be prepared from the foregoing resolutions and will be used at the annual meeting to determine who will cast the votes of each member.
