During the summer, under the leadership of Bob Woody and our maintenance man, Steve Harris, 25 projects were completed, resulting in an enhanced operating and visual appearance of the campus. The complete list is also posted on the Owner Section under Projects. On behalf of the Board, we acknowledge and thank the efforts of Bob and Steve to improve our campus.
Summer 2018 Completed Projects
1. Installed new lighting in all the building lobbies and entrances.
2. New lighting in the clubhouse and bathrooms.
3. New dimmers and motion sensors.
4. Installed air conditioning units in all the elevator machine rooms.
5. Seal coated the parking lot. New handicapped spaces and signage.
6. Installed new back flow preventer on the main incoming line along with new pack flows for all the dock water.
7. Installed new fire pump controller.
8. Installed new sewage ejector pumps.
9. Fire alarms were completed in buildings 3,4. and 8. Final fire alarm inspections for buildings 1,3,4 and 8.
10. Patched openings in the units from the fire alarm installation in buildings 3,4 and 8.
11. Painting of the conduits in buildings 3,4 and 8 is ongoing.
12. Removed 72 fire hose cabinets. Patched the walls behind the removed cabinets. Painted the walls. Painted the standpipes.
13. Removed broken cabinets in clubhouse. Cleaned up miscellaneous wiring in the clubhouse.
14. Replaced broken and rusted out pipe supports in the garages.
15. Paint touch up in the garages.
16. Painted door thresholds. Painted outside doors.
17. Had the water pressure tested at the incoming line (55) and at each of the buildings (53).
18. New signage in the elevators.
19. New elevator buttons in two of the buildings. Three remaining to be completed.
20. New signage on the electric panels feeding the boat slips.
21. Grill signage. Grill leveling and pavers.
22. Painted bridges across swales.
23. Pressure washed the trash rooms.
24. New photocells on all buildings.
25. New ceiling bars for elevator ceilings.
