VI. POOLS
a. USE OF POOLS will be in a manner that respects the rights of all persons living on the property. Usage is limited to owners & their guests.
b. THESE AREAS ARE TO BE USED AT THE RISK of those involved and not, in any event, at the risk of the association.
c. CHILDREN UNDER TWELVE must be accompanied by an adult while in the pool area. Safety is of utmost importance.
d. NO FOOD OR GLASS containers are allowed in the pool area.
e. FURNITURE AND FURNISHINGS are not to be removed from the pool deck area. Also, pool furniture shall not be reserved.
f. APPROPRIATE SWIMWEAR must be worn by all.
g. RULES FOR POOL use and pool hours are posted at the pools. Please read and abide by them.
h. WHEN ENTERING OR LEAVING THE POOL AREA, ensure that the pool gate is closed for the safety of children.
Pool hours are from 8:00 am until dusk.
Recently, the question of locking the pools has been raised. According to our insurance company, the liability carriers require the pool be fenced with a fully operational, self-closing and locking gate mechanism. Not locked as with a key to open, but the gate should be on a spring that self closes, And can then only be opened by releasing the ‘locking mechanism.” The purpose is to prevent someone from gaining access to the pool area by just “pushing open a swinging gate.“
